E. W. Farnsworth’s short story, “Enyo on Rails,” has been accepted for publication in the Steam-Powered Dream Engines Anthology, to be published by Horrified Press in London.
The story, centering on a fictional Nineteenth-Century exchange of high-technology “gifts” by the emperors of Germany and Russia, explores the intrigue of producing and deploying black steam-powered war machines. Enyo, the Roman god of war, is intimately involved in the action and benefits most from the competition among the great powers.
